There are many acts of worship which are prescribed for the Muslim to do on this day. These include: 1 – Salaat al-Jumu’ah (Friday prayer) Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the Salaah (prayer) on Friday (Jumu‘ah prayer), come to the remembrance of Allah [Jumu‘ah religious talk (Khutbah) and Salaah (prayer)] and leave off business (and every other thing). To mention the name of Allah on its own or to repeat the pronoun “Huwa” (He)

Allah (swt) said: "And do thou (O Muhammad) remember thy Lord within thyself humbly and with awe, below thy breath, at morn and evening. And be not thou of the neglectful." (al-A'raf 7/205); "(O mankind!) Call upon your Lord humbly and in secret. Lo! He loveth not aggressors." (al-A'raf 7/55); "Be modest in thy bearing and subdue thy voice.
